Dr. Tootle embarked on his journey with Impact Ministries over two decades ago, initially as a small gathering of faith-driven friends, meeting weekly in their homes to study the Bible. In response to the pressing needs of Las Vegas' homeless community, Pastor Tootle felt compelled to initiate an outreach ministry, offering meals and essential support to those in crisis. Over time, this outreach program expanded its reach, becoming a cornerstone of assistance for not only homeless teenagers and families in distress but also a catalyst for other nonprofits and churches aligned with a compassionate mission.
While outreach efforts remained steadfast for Impact Ministries, Dr. Tootle's unwavering commitment to teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ has remained at the forefront. Guiding a dedicated congregation of believers, he led Impact Ministries through remarkable growth, evolving from humble in-home Bible studies and outreach activities to establishing a doctoral research center dedicated to generational discipleship. His support extended to local pastors, assisting them in building robust ministerial programs capable of reaching diverse groups of believers, establishing himself as an invaluable resource for aspiring ministers of the Gospel.
Throughout the challenges posed by the pandemic, Impact Ministries demonstrated resilience by maintaining the same scholarly rigor in online Bible studies and prayer services as in-person gatherings while also continuing to serve Las Vegas' urban community with essential resources, all for the glory of God!
In recent years, Impact Ministries has continued to evolve. It has shifted its focus toward addressing the resource needs of the urban community, notably by adopting a Title I high school, providing practical support to economically disadvantaged students and families in crisis. The ministry's dedication to homeless teens persists through resource donations and targeted survival essentials drives. Dr. Tootle’s influence has expanded into consultative support for churches and ministries seeking to enhance their discipleship efforts. His course on discipleship 101, taught at West Coast Bible College, is just one facet of his multifaceted contributions. Building upon his research on Millennial Drift, Dr. Tootle has expanded his work to encompass a comprehensive manuscript on love and discipleship, which is currently pending copyright and publication.
