He Chose Me!

We all know the sting of not being chosen, but Jesus gives us a greater truth. He knows us completely, and still He chose us. Like Israel, we were not selected because of merit, strength, or worthiness, but solely because of His love and purpose. Jesus calls His followers friends, invites us into His joy, and commands us to love one another with the same sacrificial love He displayed on the cross. He reminds us that we did not choose Him, He chose us to bear lasting fruit for His glory. This study calls us to rest in God’s gracious choosing, walk in obedience, and fulfill the purpose for which Christ appointed us.
