The Promise of the Holy Spirit

As Jesus prepares to “die a great death” and leave His disciples, He does not leave them money, power, or fame. He promises something greater, the Holy Spirit, another Helper who will live in believers forever, teach them, remind them of His words, and make God’s home in them. Through the Spirit, Jesus shares His own life and peace with His people, even in the middle of trouble. This study calls us to treasure Christ’s true legacy, the indwelling Spirit who empowers our obedience, anchors our hearts, and keeps us until He returns.
