Hated!

Jesus warns His disciples that following Him will bring the world’s hatred. True believers will face rejection, pressure, and opposition because the world hated Christ first. Compromise may spare us from conflict, but it also empties our faith of power and distinction. Jesus calls His people to stand firm, refuse conformity, and expect the same mixed responses He received. Yet He does not leave us alone. He promises the Holy Spirit, the Advocate and Spirit of truth, who strengthens us to endure, empowers our witness, and keeps us faithful in a hostile world. This study calls us to bold allegiance to Christ and dependence on the Spirit as we shine His light into the darkness.
